Tomb Raider Anniversary is on Steam right now for 75% off. That’s $5 for a $20 game. Not bad! I’m not big on digital distribution, I prefer buying hard copies. But for $5, this is worth it. Provided you have an interest in the game.
Metascore is 83. But more importantly: Boobs are go.
*Edit: The Steam website went down almost immediately after I saw this deal. Once it came back up, I saw there was a demo for the game. Tried it out, and at least for me, the game isn’t even worth the $5. Not when I have much better games to play, and not when you can spend $5 for other games from Steam, PSN, or XBL and get a better experience.
The first thing I noticed was that it looked rather poopy. That’s okay, I can get past bad graphics if the gameplay was there. But then there was the second thing I noticed: the controls were terrible. It is obviously a console game ported to the PC. It could be fun if I had a gamepad for my pc, but using the mouse + keyboard to play this game is just painful. It could very well be a great game. Then again, since it is a remake of the first Tomb Raider game, maybe the high ratings it got were from a nostalgia affect. I do not know. And how the PC version got the highest rating is beyond me!
Still, for $5 and with a demo to try it out first, it’s worth a look.

I am glad to send you and play by your game
